I have a table in which I would like to inform users that a few columns are mandatory. As of now, I have highlighted the column headers of the mandatory columns.

Would like to know is there any other way to do the same.

Hi @Naga Swarupa Anjimeti and welcome!

My approach would be to highlight the column headers and inform the users by using an info panel above the table (so basically the same approach as you mentioned). There is no way in Confluence to define a table column as mandatory. But you can have a look at the Atlassian Marketplace, maybe there is an app for your use case.

Besides that, Confluence Databases might support this requirement in the future.

Hope this helps!

Hello @Naga Swarupa Anjimeti

You can color-code individual cells (or rows, columns, selection of cells).

Important! Red cells are mandatory :)
