Is it possible to find the available anchors in a page when creating a link.

This question is in reference to Atlassian Documentation: Anchors

Once the system knows what page is being linked to, it should also know what anchors are available for that page and be able to provide a selector.

Hi Dennis,

No, that functionality is not included in Confluence, and Yes, it would be very useful.

There are no anchor addons in the Atlassian Marketplace, and I can't find any bug/feature requests for this functionality at jira.atlassian.com.  But if you search for "anchor" amongst the bug/feature requests you'll find a lot of annoyed customers complaining about how user-unfriendly anchors are.  If you put a feature request in for this functionality you'd probably get quite a bit of support.
