We have a particular page which is used to track if someone followed a training.
Each time the page is updated it is added to the recommended notifications, while we would rather not have it there.

Can it be excluded from the notification ?

Hanis - Can you confirm the algo includes "recently updated" vs "recently created"? Based on the assumption it was created, we modified our CLI-based job to update with a --minor switch (equivalent to "Do Not Notify") and still our Recommended email is clogged with our batched updates. Thanks!

I'm afraid it can't be excluded from the notifications because the content was automatically chosen based on this algo from the source code:

  • Pages and blog posts that people have recently liked.
  • Pages and blog posts that people have recently commented on.
  • Pages and blog posts that have recently been created.

The activities are listed in order of popularity, with the most popular at the top. I was thinking of the possibility to exclude the page by putting a restriction to it however that might not work since it is affected by this bug: https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/CONF-29254
