Is it possible to disable "show all files" on content page?

Is there a way to disable the Show All Files feature associated with an image added inline with content?  By default every images has a 4-arrow pointer when hovered over, when you click any image it launches a carousel to view all images ever saved with that content.  There is also an option below to show all images.  So my first question is how do I make an image just that, an image that doesn't launch an image preview?  Secondly, is there a code snippet to hide the "Show All" option that appears as well?
