Is is possible to auto-generate a Jira epic when a user fills out a Confluence template form?

As part of our creative process, team members submit a project brief by copying a Confluence templated form and creating a new page with the information.

While we know it's possible to generate a Jira epic from that submission by using the "/jira" functionality, we're worried about some users understanding how to intuitively do that.

Is there another way to auto-generate an epic from a form submission / page creation?
