Ideally I'd raise this as a UX defect directly to Atlassian.
We've noticed that the search box at the top of any given confluence page is one of the last things on the page to initialise – in most instances it takes multiple seconds before a user can type into the search box and start a search.
We are a large user of Confluence and searching is the best way to get around our many confluence space(s), so it's eminently frustrating to have to wait to search most times I open Confluence to find something.
Anyone else having the same issue?
Thank you for reporting this to us. The answer likely depends on the size of the Confluence site. If you're encountering problems on your site, please report this to your Confluence admins so they can raise a ticket with our support team.
We can then look at your site and determine what's happening and why it's so slow to search.
