Is Confluence Usage Stats plugin available on the cloud atlassian.net platform?

Hi Thierry,

We've created an add-on that gives some great usage statistics in Confluence Cloud. It includes an overview of activity but also the details like who has viewed a particular page.

Is there a more coat effective solution?  We can't add the additional $7k to our budget at this time.

If you're familiar with Google Analytics, you could also consider using Google Analytics for Confluence Cloud, which sends activity in Confluence into Google Analytics. This app is currently free and is from another Top Vendor on the Atlassian Marketplace.

Tim, Thanks for your response.  We have incorporated Google Analytics but didn't provide user usage - and that's specifically what we're interested in tracking.

Hi Thierry,

The Usage Stats plugin is deactivated by default due to causing performance issues on large installations. However, we can still activate the plugin for you if you submit a request through support.atlassian.com.

Hi @Paula Silveira, do you have any stats on how large of a performance issue when enabled? If minimal, is the option to enable still available or are all users pointed to the below comment (Analytics for Confluence Cloud)?

Usage Statistics Plugin was discontinued due to performance issues and now this is one of the Restricted functions in Confluence Cloud.

As mentioned by @Tim, there are a few options outside of the Usage plugin which are provided by third-parties add-ons:

• Google Analytics for Confluence Cloud
• Analytics for Confluence Cloud
