Insertion of multiple users in group

Arantxa Lacasa Madero June 21, 2012

Hello!!

We need to insert too many users in one group in Confluence. We have an excel with all of them, and would like to know if there is any way to do it all at once.

These users are from ldap.

Thanks!

Hello,

I am unsure if I understood you correctly. You are using LDAP for your confluence authentication and you now want to add those users to a Confluence group, right?

In Confluence 4.2 you can add members to a group by entering a comma seperated list of those users.

So, provided all users in your excel have the same name in Confluence, you'd have to create a comma seperated list of all usernames in your excel out of that excel sheet.

Depending on your excel version this link might help you:
