Insert JIRA issue

I am not seeing the "Insert JIRA issue" option in confluence. I have JIRA setup as a trusted application both ways via the Application link menu.

I also have Zen foundation installed so I am wondering if maybe Zen is supressing this action?

The Jira macro works {jira} but I can't see the insert JIRA issue anywhere (ot on the menu and not via ctrl-shift-J).

I am running the most current verion of confluence,JIRA and zen.

Ah...I found it. The mechanism for adding a JIRA issues is not the same as adding a blog post or a new page. Rather, a JIRA issue is inserted while editing an individual page. Not exactly the behavior I was after but it may work.

Hi Nate!

Please check first if you are able to search for those issues using Confluence:

Choose Insert > JIRA Issue from the editor toolbar.

Go to the Search tab of the 'Insert JIRA Issue' dialog.

Enter a JQL query.

If you are able to search for queries, you should be able to insert it as well. Plese check this documentaion for further information.

Hope it helps!

Thanks for the quick response. With Zen foundation installed I don't think I have access to the editor toolbar. I am pretty sure I have access to the issues though because I can use the list issues macro in confluence and it will return issues.

Maybe this is a Zen issue.

Would it be possible to give me the name of the action that is actually called when The "Add Jira Issue" is called.

For example this is this the createpage.

createpage.action?fromPageId=******&spaceKey=********

Or blogpost.

createblogpost.action?fromPageId=******&spaceKey=********
