I am currently using Atlassian JIRA and Confluence. we have a maintenance process where we need to log maintenance details, schedule calls to discuss the impact, and update the status post-implementation.
I would like to know if JIRA or Confluence supports features for managing my maintenance process. Specifically, I am looking for the following functionalities:
1. Implementation of a shared calendar and templates
2. Workflow for recording and tracking maintenance work
Could you please review our requirements and suggest how Atlassian might accommodate these needs?
Thank you for your assistance.
@Sumit Mishra welcome to the Atlassian community
1. Implementation of a shared calendar and templates - Confluence Cloud Premium has team Calendars. It is a great way to have shared calendars that help keep your team on the same page. It also integrates with Jira so you can easily populate it with important dates right from Jira. https://support.atlassian.com/confluence-cloud/docs/create-add-and-edit-calendars/
Confluence Cloud also allows you to create templates that your team can use over and over in your processes. https://support.atlassian.com/confluence-cloud/docs/create-a-template/ The also have a library of templates that you can pull from adjust to your needs and use with your team. https://www.atlassian.com/software/confluence/templates
2. Workflow for recording and tracking maintenance work - Jira allows you to create workflows that can be tied to a specific issue type. You can have multiple issue types to track your maintenance work with their own workflows ensuring that all the steps are completed and recorded. https://support.atlassian.com/jira-service-management-cloud/docs/overview-of-jira-cloud-workflows/
