Hi guys!

We are running a NPO and as such we do also have a facebook fanpage. I am now looking for a possibility to add facebook information to a confluence page. I have had some success with rss feeds, but it does not give you the same "look and feel" as facebook has. Any ideas from your side how to show a facebook fanpage in confluence?

Why reload jQuery at all? This works fine with jQuery 1.5.2 as used by Confluence 4. Just prefix/namespace the jQuery object. This should work:

<script src="/path/to/jquery.neosmart.fb.wall.js" type="text/javascript"></script>
<script type="text/javascript">
		AJS.$('#example1').fbWall({ id:'162253007120080',accessToken:'206158599425293|7809823973348bcf8cd72f6d.1-100000221135225|BW9n2eoyL7EYvJs7GEmv61NbBFk'});
<div id="example1"></div>

Hi David!

Ok, now I do not understand anything anymore.... If I load the script "jquery.neosmart.fb.wall.js" inside a page it works, if I load it via custom HTML in admin panel it does not work at all.

Anyway, thanks for your great help!

I'm not sure what you're doing to get that. I'd bundle a variation of the above code snippet in a user macro and place it on the appropriate pages -- likely turning the id & accessToken into macro parameters.

If you just want to include the fan page, you could add it to the page as an iframe. Seems a bit lame, but not knowing your requirements, it may be sufficient.

The iframe macro does not work once you try to use It just shows a blank page - all other addresses to work w/o any problem.

Isn't there a Facebook fanpage widget which you can simply include?

You are absolutely right - unfortunately the facebook social gadgets do not show the wall post information. What would make sense to see is what you can also get via an rss feed from a fan page.

A nice option would be

But unfortunately loading jQuery manually does lead to problems with refinedwiki
