In the cmd+K link pop-up: How can I find a Jira ticket via ticket-ID?

Remi January 11, 2022

To link a Jira ticket in Confluence, I can open the link pop-up via CMD+K and then search for any words within the ticket's description. Instead I want to be able find the ticket by number, such as SFL-290. Is that possible?

I do not want do use the "/jira" plugin as it disrupts the writing flow too much.

Hi @Remi ,

In fact the CMD + K allows you to paste a link or search for recently viewed.

Hi @Magdalena Zhisheva,

thank you so much for your response!

Since I'm not the Jira System Admin, I can't change the ticket naming pattern as the workaround you linked suggests. If our admin indeed follows through with this, I'll update here.

Not marking this, as a accepted yet. Ideally, I'd want Atlassian adapt the cmd+K popup to allow search via ticket key.
