Import into a Confluence Page External Web Content

RanMan July 1, 2014

Hi

Is there any way of importing External WebContent into Confluence at all?

I was looking into the iframes, but that method is not good for me as I am expecting confluence itself pulling the external content rather than my browser?

I have been checking for hours but I have not found anything conclusive yet....

Any ideas/help/tips?

Many thanks

Thanks very much for your help!

In the end I have used the API REST with python so I have scripted the way of updating the page every now and then, and it seems to work perfectly fine

Thanks again!

Hi there,

There are a few ways to achieve that.

Importing web content

Here are some options for importing or displaying web content on a Confluence page:

  • Use the Widget Connector Macro to display videos, slide shows, twitter chats, documents and more, sourced from other web sites and displayed on your Confluence page.

You can also refer to this documentation here for the content import :)

Hope these help.
