Images used on multiple pages

Brian Harris January 20, 2016

This question is in reference to Atlassian Documentation: Displaying Images

When I add an image from another page, and then edit the page to view the image, how can I find out which page the image was originally attached to (ie where it came from)?

Do you know if there is a way to retrieve a list of the multiple pages referencing the same image?

You can go to Tools > Info and check "Outgoing links".
There is the name of the page where the included image came from.

Ah, OK. Thanks. I would never have worked out that's what that was telling me.

So it doesn't say which specific image was copied from where, it just lists the topics that images on this page come from?

Yes, that is what it does.

But don't get me wrong. I am not saying my answer is the right one. My feeling is more like that you have discovered something that wasn't thought about before.

Let's wait and see if anybody knows something better.
