I've got images with image properties defined like "shadow". When I do a PDF export there is no shadow on the images while it works within confluence. Is this supposed to work?

Hello Mdo, at the present date the image effects do not get exported to the PDF. Looking at this improvement ticket here the feature does not appear to be arriving anytime soon.
Alternatively, you may be able to customize the export in order to have effects in images.
