I want to make the conflunce page inaccessible using the API

青山 明 January 21, 2022

I want to update the permissions of a conflunce page using the REST API below. I set the permission by specifying the page creator and group to which the permission is given, but everyone else has viewing permission. I want to make everyone else inaccessible, what should I do?

HI @青山 明

First check the space permissions and then have page restrictions.

Manually check the permission is working and then use same users/groups you have used via API.

Let me know if you need specific API whether it's space permission or page restrictions

Thanks,

Pramodh

When updating confluence page permissions using the REST API, I want to set permissions only for specific authors and groups and make them inaccessible to all other users. How can I specify inaccessibility of other users in the API?
