This question is in reference to Atlassian Documentation: Configuring Backups
I successfully enable the backup path configuration and I can set it to a directory on my local hard drive but when I set it to a maped network drive on a synology nas it says ' Backup path specified does not exist.'
How have you "mapped" the NAS drive?
Backups can be done to shared storage (although latency and potential disconnects mean it is not a recommended or supported thing to do in most cases), but there are some quirks, and Confluence will not recognise some types. We don't even know what OS you are on, let alone the mapping method you've used.
This community is celebrating its one-year anniversary and Atlassian co-founder Mike Cannon-Brookes has all the feels.
