I like the Confluence Cloud look and feel better than the Self-Hosted one

How can I configure the self-hosted version to look more similar to the Cloud's one?

So, as long as I know, the answer is: "right now you can't have the Cloud Look in Confluence Server"

Be aware that Cloud and Server versions of Confluence are different.

Also, lots of people are campaigning aganist the current look of Concluence Cloud so maybe we'll never have it on the Server version.

if I remember correctly the new look that resembles the current cloud was introduced in Confluence Server 6.7

The look I'm having after installing the current 30 days trial version is the one the 6.13 release notes show on the screenshots:

I've been using the Cloud version with this look and liked it a lot, as my coworkers did. But after installing the self-hosted version I found it's a different interface.

Is there any way to switch to the new look?

from what I see on the Confluence product page it's a nice custom template with a collapsed space sidebar.

I am not entirely sure about the differences in the Roadmap Planner macro in current cloud & 6.13.

Those are the changes I'm looking for and the server version lacks of.

It seems like it's not just a template.

I hope this "new experience" is implemented soon in the Server version but I don't see it between the 6.14beta features :-(
