I have a confluence site which I have imported from an old location.
I am trying to grant new users to an imported site in confluence, but I am struggling to get this to work? I get no errors being displayed. The original users all have access but I can't seem to grant new users access.
I have tried to invite as well as manually add users but the users keep getting the same message from confluence "You don't have access to this space" also the org admin of the site is unable to view this space as well.
Has anyone run into a similar problem? Any pointers/help would be greatly appreciated.
Hi @Manny
Judging from the error message and your description, it seems that the new user successfully login into the site but unable to access the space you mentioned. If that is the case, then we can safely assume that the issue is within the space permission.
The permission in Confluence are configured in three level, global, space and page restriction. Is it possible that the org admin group and the new user doesn't have permission in the space?
Hope it helps.

Yeah, after doing some digging. Turns out this is the case! I have now assigned the relevant groups to the space and the users are able to access the space now.
Thank you!
