How to show JIRA reports in confluence to customers, who don't have access to JIRA as agents

Katya Godneva October 16, 2017

Hello,

I need to provide managment and executive staff with reports from JIRA (issues CLOSED, OPEN, IN PROGRESS) so one,

But I don't really want to grant them access to JIRA as agents, and without that - they dont see the content of the reports , don't have access enough.

Thanks in advance!

You would have to export the report as a PDF.  They have to have access to the view access to the project in order to see the issues that you are pulling in the report filter.  You can either provide them access to JIRA and the project or make the project public so anyone can see it otherwise the filters will not provide any information back on the report.

Thanks for the answer!
Well, making a JIRA project public doesn't sound like a best practice to me....

Also, there is no dynamics in PDF reports...
