How to set dashboard for anonymous users

sn August 28, 2017

hi all,

confluence 5.10 server users.

we want to have anonymous users access to our Confluence. I tested this with some psaces and i noticed that when i hit the base url, the dashboard with updates ( for public spaces only) is shown as landing page.

how can i edit this ? i donot want users going through base url( which has login details) and landing on dashboard.

when a url specific to public space is used, only then they should be able to see anything.

is this possible ?

thanks

We don't have a way within Confluence to direct users to a certain page depending on the URL they use (public space in your example) to access Confluence.

Please consider changing the landing page from the dashboard to one that you would not mind being accessed by both your internal and external customers. Here are the instructions for changing the landing page in Confluence 5.10.x: Configuring the Site Home Page
