How to set Monday as the first day of a week in Confluence Date Picker?

I have the US language pack installed and English (United States) is the global default language. Nonetheless Sunday is the first day of the week in the date picker.

It didn't work. I've added:

-Duser.language=de

-Duser.country=DE

to the JVM parameters of Confluence as specified in this Windows Service section.

This is not a duplicate.

I have contacted Atlassian support and they came to me with reply, "the feature to change first date of week is not implemented yet. There is an issue, you can vote for: https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/CONF-35447

Also, there is a workaround to this problem, but it requires javascript programming, hint: http://stackoverflow.com/questions/1313317/set-start-day-of-the-week-in-jquery-ui-datepicker

Hope it helps.
