How to search macro content in Confluence?

I developed a text macro for Confluence that displays a number in a particular way on the page. I want to be able to search for this using standard confluence search, but it doesn't seem to be indexed or searchable. Is there something missing that would enable this?

Hi Michael,

I came across an old blog post of Bob Swift talking about making included pages searchable on the page where they are included with his Cache for Confluence app.

That is the blog post. Maybe this is helpful in a way? Would be great if you keep us updated if you can solve this as I can think of 1-2 use cases myself.

Best,

Max

I'll certainly let you know, Max. I haven't tried the Cache solution yet and not sure if that's what we want either.
