For example, I have created a numbered list as below:

  1. Click your profile photo.
  2. Select Settings. (Near the bottom).
  3. Click <> Developer Settings in the left sidebar. (It’s the last option.)

I want to reorder begining of the list with 7:

7. Click your profile photo.

8. Select Settings. (Near the bottom).

9. Click <> Developer Settings in the left sidebar. (It’s the last option.)

So how can I achieve this?

Thanks a lot.

Welcome @BigBridge .

Here's what I do to achieve the outcome. IF you just replace the first number with "7." and hit the space bar afterwards, the rest of the numbers follow.

It works for confluence cloud pages. Hope this helps.

Hi Benjamin,

Thanks for your quick reply.

I also use confluence webpage. I accessed webpage through my company Intranet and I am not sure if the version/features are different.

But actually, at least for my editing interface. When texts are defined as a numbered list , the numbers cannot be selected and are not editable.

Refer to the gif picture below:

Whatever, thanks again for your kind answer.
