How to remove the build number from the login page

How can I remove the build number from the login page?

<web-inf>/classes/templates/plugins/footer/footer.vm

You have to manually edit some JSP file i guess.

Thank Louis, you're probably right, or maybe some .vm etc. files. Next step now is to find out which ones.

Jamie's answer put me on the right track and I've got it.

The actual file is (in my case) e:\confluence-3.5.13-std\confluence\decorators\includes\footer-content.vm. It contains a section <ul id="poweredby"> and in there you can remove the getversion number line.
