How to remove all macros of a certain type from a Confluence page?

licence September 2, 2019

Hello,

the title says it all. My use case is that users have a document with lots of "Panel" macros that explain what should they fill in the document. After that, they would like to have the option to bulk delete all macros (or macros of a certain type, like "Panel") from a space or a page.

How can I do this?

I have already tried the "Search and Replace" macro, but it throws me errors whenever I try to search for the "Panel" macro; I have also tried the "Source editor", but it isn't very intuitive to the end user.

Thanks in advance,

Maybe webDAV and some Windows tool to update page content that is a .txt file?
