How to not go back at the top of page every time I start editing a page ...

Antoine Gennart July 2, 2021

Every time I want to edit one page, the view goes back to the top of the page instead of keeping the current one. How can we configure confluence to stay at current location ?

The same behavior happens in edit mode while I create a new feature (title, table, ...) or when I edit text properties (change color, ...). Actually, every 5 seconds I must scroll back to the bottom of the page...

Hi @Antoine Gennart

You can press the shortcut "e" in view mode to edit right away without having to scroll. It's probably one of the hidden gems that people are not aware of.

Regards.

This shortcut does not work anymore. It will go back the beginning of the page unfortunately.
