I remember reading an article about the limitations in the lucene search engine and how to make sure content was easy to find, but atm i can't find it smile I remember it had to do with labeling content, last updated pages, summary having a higher search weight  than text on a page or comments, but now when i need it i can not find it. Does anyone know what page i am looking for, or can point me to a similar point of information?

My guess is that you're looking at one thing I've got bookmarked - https://confluence.atlassian.com/display/CONF42/Ranking+of+Search+Results  which is obviously rather old and unmaintained.  I don't know if it's still accurate either.
