How to make a nice confluence page

Like this:

Confluence front

which I found in Atlassian's front webpage (accessed 2013-10-19, click the "Collaborate" text)

Especially the team member photos. I tried to reproduce it using

Section( Column() Column() Column() ), Section( Column() Column() Column() ), ...

and within each column I put the Profile Picture macro, the User Mention macro, and an italized text mentioning each one's role.

But the result is ugly. The texts are too spaced, the photos aren't aligned, etc.

Maybe we can see the source for the page pictured above, or anyone has an idea how to craft such a page?

Hi. try using layouts.
how about if you press the edit on that page to find out how it is done? :)

Fajar, you can recreate a page like this using Page Layouts – there's no need to use the Section and Column macros. See this video for a quick demo:

You can use a table to keep the profile pictures and names aligned – i.e. one profile pic per table cell (centered).
