How to inject a value of selected list-option item into a CustomWare report?

Hi,

I'm trying to filter CustomWare reports by list-options, but I've been told that my question is more related to the HTML macro.

My goal is to create a list with selectable items representing categories of something. By clicking on one or more items, their values should be delivered to another macro, e.g. as filter criterions to a CustomWare report. I do not want to edit the page, add the filter criterion manually to the report and than save the page. That would be a roundabout way, there must be a more simple and dynamic solution. Any ideas?
