How to get the actual version of the page

I would like to display the actual version of the page.

I tried creating a user macro with $content.version. It displays the versions correctly, but when I export a previous version of the page (e.g. v2) from the history, it always shows the most current version (e.g. v8).

Does anyone have an idea how to do this? Or is this a bug?

"Export to PDF" uses current version of the page.

As a workaround, if you need to export some previous page:

1. Open page history

2. Select required previous version

3. "Restore this Version"

4. Export to PDF
