Hi Rachel, thanks for the answer, however I was asking about notifications “when a document with a specific label changes” not when labels are added or removed.
We want to do this so we can monitor by topic, say all documents related to topic X.
It might be possible to make a script which checks for all the pages that have a particular label and at the same time checks for all pages that a user is watching, and if the lists are different, then it would update the watches to include the newly labeled content. Then you would be able to set it to run every 30 minutes or so. Unwatching when a label is removed would be a little more difficult, because you would have to distinguish from regular already watched pages, but you could save a list or something locally and compare that. Not impossible, but it would take a little bit of work. If you didn't mind about the extra watches after a label is removed, then it would be easier.
