How to fix "getData Error reading gadget feed from "

Elena Oleksenko April 17, 2014

Hello

I get message in confluence log file:

2014-04-18 11:01:32,722 WARN [http-127.0.0.1-0000-5] [plugins.gadgets.metadata.GadgetsMacroMetadataProvider] getData Error reading gadget feed from http://<strong< a="">>OLD_LINK/jira/rest/gadgets/1.0/g/feed

-- url: /plugins/macrobrowser/browse-macros.action | userName: admin| referer: http://confluence.<url>/pages/editpage.action?pageId=39944202| action: browse-macros

OLD_LINK mean old jira url, jira was moved but seems that somewhere old link has remained. How to fix this and replace the old link to the new one?

Thanks for help.

Hi, I have exactly the same problem: after changing the JIRA url, these messages keep on popping up in the log. Application links have changed correctly and everything works fine, just these annoying messages remain. Have you resolved your issue? Regards, Geert

Hi Elena,

I was reviewing your question, and I could see that this stack-trace is under a WARN flag, which means, that Confluence could complete the task, but had some problems doing it. To see if that is true, is the feed working? If yes, you can disregard the message. If you're having problems, we must check if you can access this URL, the "feed" one, from Confluence's box, to see if there's any roadblock.

Cheers,
WZ
