Hello,
Now, every time I type space + colon, then this smiley selector pops up :
The thing is that in French every colon needs a space before. So most of the time we use colon is not for adding smileys ... but to use a colon. This used to be the standard for printing https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Colon_(punctuation)
Is there a way to disable specifically this smiley selector, as my OS already offers ways to type in smileys (Win + . on windows) ?
Gitlab had the same issue and fixed it in an elegant way. the smiley selector still opens but loses focus and closes if the next caracter is line break or space (which is mostly the standard use for colons).
Thanks for your help,

Thanks Barara for your message. I have seen that topic before, but i would like to find a solution without disabling all my keyboard shorcuts.

Currently there's no way to disable the feature. My recommendation is to open a feature request with Atlassian at https://support.atlassian.com/contact/
