How to create spreadsheet formulas in confluence ?

Micheal Jordan November 17, 2014

In Microsoft Excel, when the value of cell1 depends on the value of cell2, we can use a formula to set the value of cell1. Is there a similar FREE feature in confluence tables (no paid plugins please) ? Please suggest a tutorial for this.

thanks !

You could use the Create Your Own addon and embed a Google Spreadsheet Widget. Aside from that I don't know that there is anything like what you are looking for.

Hello!

Among paid macros the best option for you is CelesteCS Math for Confluence.

Assume you have a table with three columns and three rows on your page – from A1 till C3, where row 1 is the header row. The sum calculation formula for rows 2 and 3 will be simple:

SUM(Table1.A2:C3)

There is a plenty of other functions in the macro, so you may perform any calculations using formulas in EXCEL style.

Thanks!
