How to create confidential space or page in Confluence so even Admins can't have access?

Narendra.Upadhye May 17, 2022

Hi there,

I have a requirement to create a confidential space with spaces where only few key stakeholders can access these and no-one else. Not even Confluence Admins can have access to the space/pages.

Is this possible, if so how?

Many thanks

Naren

You can restrict the page, or keep it in a private place.  Admin rights do not mean "can see everything".

But Admin rights do mean they can administrate the system - they need to be able to configure spaces and restrictions in order to do their job, so they will always be able to unlock a page for themselves if they need to.

You need to trust your admins via some other route than denying them access.
