This began when we tried to update the memory size of an old confluence instance. However when doing so we tried rebooting confluence and received a null-pointer exception when we tried to connect to confluence again online. We did end up troubleshooting this error by changing the old instance that was still running in the background. Then we restarted both confluence and the mysql database and in doing so we ended up creating a new instance of confluence.
I believe we set this instance up using the embedded database, HSQL; however, all of our data that existed on the old confluence MySQL database, is not there since the new instance is now connected to the embedded database.
What I was wondering was if and how we can move/connect the data from our old MySQL database of the old confluence back to the new instance we created.
