How to add charts in page?

Parth Kadia October 7, 2019

I want to add charts in my confluence page but I not able to do that.

I have followed the steps to mention in documentation.

Step 1: Edit the page and use autocomplete to add the Chart macro. (Type '{chart}'.)

I am not able to find "autocomplete" kind of option on my screen.

Chart plugin is able to use in Free confluence account? I have set up my confluence account as a free for exploring.

Please share with me a video tutorial or link for setup chart.

Hello Parth and welcome to the Community!

Thanks for letting us help with your issue in creating a Chart macro within Confluence cloud. Chances are, the documentation you’re seeing is not fully reflective of the editing experience you have. With this said, Confluence does have a new editor which is most likely the cause of this disconnect. If you’re wanting to create a macro within the new editor, please use the following:

  • New Editor:
    • /chart
  • Old Editor:
    • {chart}

Additional information on this may be found at Confluence Editing Improvements | Updated keyboard shortcuts, autocomplete, and full Markdown support

I hope this information proves helpful and you’re able to add your chart macro without issue now, along with any other macro as well.

Regards,
Stephen Sifers
