How do I indent a sentence in a Jira task description?

Nalin Jay February 18, 2019

I am creating a new task where I need several sentences in the body/description to be indented.

This is similar to bullet points, but without the bullet symbol. If I use spaces to indent, it shows fine during editing, but the spaces are lost when the task details are saved!

Any ideas?

Thanks!

Thanks CM, I tried that, didn't make a difference.

The closest thing seems to be to wrap the line in {noformat} tags and then spaces are not ignored (but that highlights the line!)
