Thanks for your answer. After a bit of research I have narrowed it down to the "softwaremix" Confluence does not really work well with Windows 10 and Windows Explorer. The workaround is Crome and so far we haven´t had any problems.

You might be better off raising a support ticket with Atlassian about this. Assuming that feature has been configured correctly, there are some known prerequisites for this work - have a look at this page and scroll down to the Configuration matrix:
