How do i gain access to system admin if the original administrator account was deleted?

Essentially, the previous system administrator left the company and deleted their account which happened to be the only system administrator account. No one was given administration permissions in their absence. As the need to add more users has arisen, I now need to gain access to the administrator account somehow. Any help on this matter would be greatly appreciated.

Please look at this spacepermissions , where permtype SYSTEMADMINISTRATOR is associated to permgroupname confluence-administrators. You should be part of the confluence-administrators group. If that is not possible, please insert a record into spacepermissions table with permtype as SYSTEMADMINISTRATOR and permusername as your user_key retrieved from the user_mapping table
