I want users to automatically go to a user's profile instead of their personal space, when anyone clicks on their name.
It seems like the following options are
I am pretty sure I can do 1 and 2. But is their a 3rd party solution or configuration I am missing?
In Confluence 5.0 (release imminent) this will be the default behaviour.
Is upgrading to 5.0 an option for you?
Thanks Matthew, I was looking for something a bit less technical, I am glad 5.0 has the behaviour. In the interim, probably won't upgrade to 5.0 till the summer, I am planning on providing redirect on the user's personal space home.

5) Use a server side redirect. I've done this for a couple of patterns that change the behavior of some actions in Confluence and it's worked very well.
If you're using Apache as, say, a proxy, then you would use mod_rewrite.
