How do I give Confluence Knowledge Base access only to specific Service Desk external users?

Deleted user February 15, 2018

Hi,

We have one Service Desk project to serve many customers using Organizations. In confluence we have Customer Knowledge Base Space where we produce how-to and troubleshooting articles.

How to set up permissions, so that only internal users and customers registered in Service Desk can access those documents? First part is simple, but i'm struggling with the customer access. Easy would be make it public, but we don't want to share this information with the world.

thanks in advance,

Martin

Hi Martin,

In Serving customers with a knowledge base, when linking a Confluence space, you can select All active users and customers which would include anyone registered as a customer on Service Desk, not necessarily having access to Confluence.

Have you seen this and would this meet your requirements?

Regards,

Shannon
