How do I get a link to open in a new window?

I am trying to get all links on a page to open in a new window so that users are not being taken away from the confluence page. How can I do this? thanks

Hi Laura,

out of the box, this is not possible. There are additional apps that provide macros for that purpose, e.g. the linking app by ServiceRocket. It provides a macro called "link-window" which you can use. And it is for free.

But I also experienced, that it is sometimes sufficient to tell your users that they should click on the link with the mousewheel to open a page in a new tab to make them happy :-)
