How do I disable/hide the Recently Updated Pages macro?

I noticed a lot of macros are cluttering our content pages. How can I hide/disable these macros (e.g. Search This Document, Featured Pages, Recently Updated Pages, Popular Topics)?

I don't know what "Search This Document" is, but everything else is deletable from the Edit view.

Is that in the page template? I want to do this for each page's template so the macros don't have to be individually deleted for each page.
