How do I change the date display format for comments in Confluence 4.2?

Chris Selvig Aug 22, 2012

I'm working to roll out a comment-intensive area in our Confluence 4.2 instance and want to change how comment times are displayed. Right now the comments shows as "x minutes ago," or "about an hour ago." I'd like to display these in standard datetime format, eg "Aug 22, 2012 12:31."

During the first 24 hours, it'll show like "x hours ago". After that, it changes to Date format.

You can play around with your date formats in General Configuration.
