How can i show page based on options selected by users?

veera reddy suravaram December 2, 2012

Hello,

I want to show a page based on the options selected by user, for example:

User opens the page i created, an option will be given to him like "are you admin user?" or "are you normal user" based on this selection I want to show the actual page to the user.

Can you please tell me how to create such a wiki pages?

Thanks in advance!

Hi Veera,

Such a thing would require a plugin or a sophisticated user macro. As an OnDemand user you do not have the ability to add User Macros and I am unaware of any plugin that would cater specifically to what you require.

If, however, the users are already divided up Confluence user groups (or you're willing to maintain these groups yourself) then you could use the show-to macro available from the Visibility Plugin (https://marketplace.atlassian.com/plugins/net.customware.confluence.plugin.visibility) to do this. I'm not sure if this is available to OnDemand users though.
