Is there a way for a user to see all (unresolved?) comments they previously made across all pages? Similar to what you can do with tasks.
The use case is: I added a bunch of suggestions and requests across a series of documents and I want to go back and check if folks have replied or resolved them....
Hi @Michael Hordern welcome to the Atlassian Community!
Comments are not yet searchable via JQL.
Check out the open suggestion and add your vote: JRACLOUD-20455 - Allow comments in JQL strings
@John Funk text ~ will search in Summary, Description and other text fields, but not directly in comments.
Some Jira third-party apps allow for searching within comments using JQL.
For example: issueFunction in commentMatches("text you are searching for")
If you're comfortable with using REST API, you can script a solution that retrieves comments and filters issues based on comment content.

Thanks @Dave Mathijs but my question was about Confluence specifically - I thought I'd posted it in the correct group. If I've understood your reply (and the linked suggestion) you're talking about Jira.
However, I am comfortable with calling an API so if there's a similar facility in Confluence I'd be happy to give that a go.

@Dave Mathijs will the text ~ syntax not search Comments also?
