How can I use the Adaptavist "Create Page" macro to create a new Page from a Template with variables

I am trying to set up the Create Page macro, to let me click a button and do the following.

I have a Parent page I want the new page to be created under: "Meetings"

I have a Template I want to use for the new page: "SRB Meeting:"

I have a Variable on the Template: $Meeting Date

I want to be able to click the button, and have a new instance of this Template pop up, allow me to enter the Meeting Date, and have that be the suffix of the title, and fill in the Date in multiple spots on the Template.

I'm able to get various parts of this functionality working with using either the Create Page macro, or the stock "create page from Template" functionality, but i'm not able to get all the pieces to work together.

Does anyone have any insight on a solution, and does what I'm asking make sense?
