Hi all,
I need to show percentage progress completion of an epic in a Confluence page. Percent completion here would be defined relative to number of child issues. Two additional wants (not need's) would be 1) to have the child issue percent completion broken down by status (so % of child issues in Backlog, % of child issues In Progress, % of child issues Done), and 2) for these to render as a single bar chart representing the epic.
The epic page itself (a "next-gen software project" epic) actually has a bar chart similar to what I'm looking for. It shows Child issues and % done. Pulling this very same bar chart into Confluence would meet my need and want #2 (even if, as-is, it doesn't show % of issues in each status).
Thoughts? Thanks, all!
Hi, we can also recommend our Table Filter and Charts for Confluence app to create Jira dashboards in Confluence.
Wrap your Jira Issues macro in the Table Toolbox macro for Cloud instances and use Pivot and Chart from Table macros to aggregate and visualize your data.
You may see more examples of Jira dashboards here.
Hi Dillon,
My quick thought is to Make use of Jira-Advanced Roadmap feature, this will serve your purpose to roll-up percentage of work complete at Epic level, also will give you details of % of Child issues in In-Progress, Done etc.
The same can be pulled into Confluence by making use of Roadmap planner macro
